i finally bought one after thinking about it for almost a decade. mint with overlay for $1099! i have two system 8s to sandwich it. And yeah, people complaining about menu dive didn't look much into this machine. all the important editing parameters in the digital section can be edited JD-800 style with the analog sliders. it also has a space echo built in!

I'm a guitarist with a stereo amp rig that just purchased the 707 and its so much fun to go down a totally different rabbit hole. I'm loving the new range of possibilities and directions this machine allows me to go in. I've been having so much fun learning it. I know that I have years in front of me to get more intuitive with it. I also look forward to integrating with my other gear via midi, which I've never used before. Thats a whole new horizon of learning and experimentation. Its a great time to be alive. My setup is so so dope. And it'll only get better!

I do not know dudes. Hey are they stand for the SH, Juno, and Jupiter series of the full sized synth keyboard? Questions 1) are they an exact facsimile of the full sized synth 2) if not, is it better or w more features and gimmicky electronics and programmings? 3) any buyer remorse? What should you have done instead? Buy the k 25 ribbon keyboard? Maybe Arturia steps work better w this? Does it need Roland mini speaker? What do Roland recommended as accessories?

Its funny. I worked opposite a music shop in Cornwall (UK) back in 1983. They were a big Roland/Boss retailer and all over that Summer their main shopfront window had a display which featured a beautiful, brand new Jupiter 6, connected up to a TR808, a Drumatix unit, the Microcomposer, and last but not least this little silver box, the TB 303. There was a big poster too and what was interesting was that all this gear was marketed towards acts who played on cruise ships or weddings! I wish I had a photo of it all. But it makes me laugh how this equipment was used for anything BUT cruise ship cover artists. If only Roland knew at the time, just what their little boxes would produce. I did buy a Jupiter 6 in the 90s and it truly was a beautiful machine. Sadly it died and was beyond repair but Ill always have it in my Top 3 synths.

I recently bought a 707 and tr8s. I find your videos awsome. they speed up my process. I used to be a "volca guy". and was tired of all the cables and limitations. The 707 is blowing my mind, and tips and tricks rwally helps. Thank you for your service.

Funny : the Proton user's manual has an entry to explain what is the "sample and hold" but the Proton has... no Sample and Hold function! Incredible! The most little synth gets this so basic function but Behringer forgot it!

Does the 32 have rotary encoders with the lights round the outside to show the position?

I'm still interested in the Proton (as long as the Canadian price isn't silly). I see it as a twofer - a backup for my Neutron and a stack of modules for more complex patches. Sub-octaves can really beef up a patch and it looks like one of the envelopes has a self-trigger mode which is very different to an LFO - especially when you mess with the attack and release times in real time. However, I am surprised to feel so positive about the UB-Xa module even though they missed the boat on selling me the keyboard version. A very nice sounding product.

Objectively, what do you believe remains to be learned about the MC 707 other than a simple limitation of the equipment before combining it with the Korg?

Personally the MC-707 or any other groove boxes wouldn’t be my first choice to produce an album. I would use this for a dawless jam or live performances but I’d rather use a DAW to produce an album. Korg gadgets is cool but since you can now use the Korg gadgets inside of a full fledged DAW why bother making a full track in Korg gadget?
